How do i acclimate bamboo shrimp?

ok i bought a bamboo shrimp from petco and so far it still in bag, i just now moved it into a bigger tub a wear bowl FOR NOW! i need to know how to acclimate it, and how do i put it in the fish tank cause i dont want the store water to be in the tank water, it might contaminate it so give me the effective way of how to acclimate and put in mny tank, ps my tank is 55 gallons

I pour the contents of the bag into an empty bucket, and then use a piece of airline and either a clamp or a valve adjusted so that the water drips into the bucket. After an hour or so, I usually fish out the fish, shrimp or whatever I'm trying to acclimatize and put it into the tank.
