After about a week, the ceramic crown has been fabricated and the fitting can transpire. Again the surrounding area and the damaged tooth are frozen and the provisional tooth is removed so the new porcelain cap can be cemented on. After the cap is firmly inserted, the bite is checked and all exteriors of the tooth are polished.

The last procedure will be the shortest and is considered necessary to check the bite, check the capability to floss around the newly topped tooth, and to check if the gum tissues have been responding well.
