Each Julene Rose Pet Bed is individually handcrafted in the U.S.A. from solid wood, hand painted and slightly distressed. It is adorned with large thick rose swag appliques on the headboard, and footboard as well as four vintage style large glass knobs for feet. The Julene Rose Pet Bed is perfect for any small or medium size pet, and as with all of our products customization is available. Not So Shabby Pets was created by model turned designer Melissa Pearcy. Her love of animals and involvement with pet rescue groups is what inspired her to create this company, designing most of the products herself. Being a designer with 9 years experience specializing in Shabby Chic/ Vintage style furnishings allowed for Pearcy to come up with what she feels is a beautiful design for pets and owners alike. Not only are Not So Shabby Pets products in the homes of many celebrities, but Pearcy has personally donated numerous beds, and feeders to charities and pet rescue organizations. Pearcy continues in her efforts to help neglected, and homeless animals by donating a portion of proceeds to The Humane Society of the United States, Kitten Rescue, and Best Friends Animal Society. "I love what I do and take great pride in all of my work. All of my products are hand crafted in the U.S.A. from solid wood, and hand painted with the utmost attention to detail. I do not offer anything that I do not have inside (and outside) my own home."
