Do Aston Villa have the most celebrity fans?

This is an abridged version of the article "Was the Worlds Most Famous Detective, Aston Villas First Celebrity Football Fan ?"As the original article was a bit long for people to include on their websites or ezines. And I have added a surprise extra Villa fan,that was not included in my original list.
There are now twenty three celebrity Villa fans on my list,I know there are probably more. But I want to limit the list to at least A or B list celebrities,so I won`t cheat by falsely inflating my list to include reality TV contestants or shopping channel presenters. 
 Aston Villa has undoubtedly the most celebrity fans in Premier league football. In quantity and quality. Their A list celebs include Prince Edward future King of the U.K; and Hollywood superstar Tom. Hanks. But to prove my point I must first 
define what I mean by an Aston Villa fan. You do not have to have visited the stadium to qualify. You just have to have stated in public. On T.V.,radio,or newspaper. That you support Aston Villa football club. With this in mind we can provide quite an impressive list. Unless you have the Pope or Barack Obama supporting your team you just cannot compete. Here is my list of famous Vllla fans.Enough to form a first and a reserve team.

1 Prince. Edward. Future King of U.K. and Commonwealth.

2 Tom. Hanks. Oscar winning actor.

3 David. Cameron. Prime Minister.

4 Mervin. King. Governor of the Bank of England.

5 Ozzie. Osborne. Local lad and heavy metal rock star.

6 Lee. Child. Best selling author. Always uses ex Villa players names, as characters in his books.

7 David. Bradley, Plays grumpy hogwarts caretaker. Argus. Filch.

8 Simon. Le Bon. Duran Duran rock star.

9 Ian. Lavender. Private. Pike in Dads army.

10 Nigel. Kennedy. Celebrity violinist.

11 Floella. Benjamin. Ex B.B.C. Play school T.V. presenter.

12 Ian. Bell. England and Warwickshire cricketer.

13 Ian. Duncan. Smith. Former Tory leader. 14 Jane. Sixsmith. Former England and Great Britain hockey player.

15 Pauline. Mc Lynne. Plays Father Teds housekeeper Mrs Doyle.

16 Emma. Willis. MTV presenter.

17 Martin. Shaw. Actor starring in Judge. John. Deed. 18 Emma. B. Radio 1 D.J.

19 Richie. Neville. Boy band FIVE.

20 Mark. Williams. Fast show comedy actor.

21 Oliver. Phelps. Plays George. Weasley. in all 6 Harry. Potter. films.

22 Geezer. Butler. Original Black Sabbath member.

Although you will not find them at Villa park for every home game, clutching a pie and a programme. they all have stated publicly that they are Villa fans, so we will just have to take their word for it.

STOP PRESS. While I was finishing typing this article, I was absent mindedly listening to the radio in the background. It was a programme about the famous tennis player Fred Perry,when a voice on the radio (a childhood friend of Fred) said "Fred had one ambition as a child, to play football for, you`ve guessed it Aston Villa. So although again he does not pass the pie and programme test. Perhaps he was a closet Villa fan because of his boyhood dream to play for Aston Villa. So I am awarding him posthumously,honorary membership of the celebrity Villa supporters club.

Frederick John Perry (18 May 1909 - 2 February 1995) three-time Wimbledon champion. He was the World No. 1 player for five years, four of them consecutive, 1934 to 1938, the first three years as an amateur.

As an eight-time Slam winner and an all-time great, Perry was the last British player to win the Wimbledon, US Open, French Open and Australian Open Men's Singles titles. He then went on to found his own sportswear company, that still bears his name today.

Eat your heart out,Tim Henman and Andy Murray.

So last but not least, I am including Fred Perry in the list at number twenty three.

Am I the only one who finds Vera Bradley bags ugly, overpriced and matronly?

If you like Vera Bradley bags, fine. It doesn't matter to me what you wear and spend your money on. But I just noticed a few weeks ago that literally every single one of my friends owns multiple Vera Bradley purses, clutches, duffles, etc. In the grand scheme of things they're not terribly expensive, and some of the fabric is interesting, but I can't help but look at the bags and think of a quilt that granny knitted or something of the likes. They look... elderly! I think the bags would be great for the beach, where you usually go for function rather than fashion in a tote bag, but I don't understand why the bags are so popular.

AGREED. i think that its something i would find in my grandmas house. i don't want a matching lunchbox, wallet, backpack, tote bag, umbrella, pens, whatever they have these days. it kills me when people only have vera bradley. im glad im not the only one who noticed this (:
