Does this make sense? Brown to blue eyes and red to blonde hair naturally with age?

I have a friend who claims that when she was very young, she had brown eyes and curly red hair. Now she has blue/grey eyes and blonde straightish hair. Does this make sense? I know eye colour can get darker, but im talking about lighter!!! She's 13 btw. Please only talk about this specific change, not your own!

Actually, it is a possibility.

A. The longer your hair grows, the straighter it becomes.
B. Red hair does turn lighter with the sun to the point that my own very auburn/red locks have been mistaken for blond after a year outdoors in the tropics
C. Eye color can get lighter due to 2 reasons. 1 reason is typical of red heads and that their eye color is almost always reflective of their hair color. That means the lighter their hair is, the lighter the color of their eyes appears (again, my eyes appeared to turn green when my hair became sunbleached blond).
