When cooked my fish inside has turned green/brown on some parts?

Hey all.

Have just cooked a battered cod fillet - and inside there are parts of the fish that have turned green/brown and it doesn't taste right.

Is this normal sometimes? Is it still OK to eat?

Thanks a lot.
