Beautiful, Affordable Wall Art

Wouldn't it be nice if we all had the money to hang priceless original paintings on our walls from the most famous artists of all time? Picasso, Van Gogh, Monet, Renoir - their pieces would hang on our walls and be even more appreciated than they already are. But since not all of us can afford an original Picasso to hang our wall, we'll have to settle for wall art. But with nice wall art, it's less like "settling", and more like hanging an original piece of art on your wall.

This is of course thanks in large part to oil replicas of the originals. These beautiful pieces, hand painted by artists, are oil painting reproductions that look just like the originals - but without the price. Whereas you would have to pay millions for an original Picasso, an oil painting reproduction of Picasso's "The Dream" would only cost you around $80 for a 20" by 24" canvas. Unlike a canvas transfer, this type of wall art is an actual painting, reproduced by a real artist to look as close to the originals as possible.

And it's not just highly famous paintings that these artists recreate. They also create their own art, and then replicate their own original designs into wall art. Modern artist Andrew Lau is one such painter. His "Memories" canvas wall art is actually five original oil painting, which are grouped together to create a large piece. These museum quality pieces are painted on hand stretched canvas, and are affordable - the five pieces cost around $150. Not too bad for pieces of art that are every bit as beautiful as those the masters created. And the nice thing about his and other artist's pieces? If something happens to them, they are easily replaced!

So until you have the budget to fill your home and office with beautiful originals, consider hand painted wall art. Or even better, when you do have the money, save it for something else, and hang reproductions that are just as beautiful as the originals. The beauty will be the same, but the price tag won't, which is a beautiful thing all on its own.
