Are Cameras at the Coldplay Concert Allowed?

i'm going to the coldplay concert at rod laver arena in march and i've seen on the website it says not to bring in cameras. i've never been to a concert before so i'm quite scared, because i know they'll have metal detectors and do checks and stuff. my purse is small and my camera is ... not that slim should we say, but slim enough i think. so should i bring my camera in? and if so how do i do that?

It says they aren't but really there's nothing much they can do to stop a couple of thousand people bringing in cameras nowadays with basically every mobile phone now having a camera as well.

I went to a Coldplay concert recently and none of the stewards told me to stop or they didn't check my bag beforehand. It's mainly just for legal reasons that they actually have to say that.

Enjoy the concert, you'll have an awesome time. There's no need to be worrying about it.
