How can I express my passion for fashion?

I've always had this 'thing' about fashion. I find it such fun to mix and match clothes. But because i don't have many clothes, i find it hard to be creative with them. I wanted to buy a hand held sewing machine so that i can make my own. But i still cant buy alot of things because they are to expensive. Any ideas???

Because you have a passion for fashion, you should save up and buy a sewing machine. Not the hand held variety because that is not the type of machine for you.

Sewing clothing is very rewarding and if you being with simple to make items, you will learn construction methods and then be able to try more challenging styles. I would urge you to take some lessons on how to use a sewing machine (these sometimes come free when you purchase a new machine). Begin with a basic straight stitch machine with a button hole feature.

Soon enough you will be designing your own clothing and be able to express your fashion talents and desires.

Begin by paging through fashion magazines and begin a filing system for things you like and for sketches you create. This is a great inspirational tool that will keep your creativity alive.
