Is their an ancient deity or god seen as draped in a mesh of golden coins or discs?

As a small child I had a powerful dream where I was brought by priests before a person sitting on a simple throne amidst a natural setting wearing a robe of golden coins or discs.

The robe was a mesh of gold coins that covered him/her from head to foot with no body part exposed. The mesh is similar to those commonly worn by the North African Berber community.

In the dream I identified the person as God. As an adult I recognize that this image is similar in style to deities of the ancient world and my curiosity has awakened.

Does anyone see similarities between this vision and the gods of our collective past?
