Lambskin rubbing off? D:?

Hi there. My mom just got me a gorgeous lambskin wallet for my birthday and I just used it today for the first time and it's rubbing off! Not a lot, just a tiny bit on the corners. I didn't throw it around or anything. I take great care of my stuff. I even kept it in a pouch in my purse when it's not in my hands. The lambskin is pale pink. How can I prevent this from happening again? Will oil help? (the ones especially made for leather).

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!
It is from Chanel so it is definitely top quality. This is just a thing with lambskin as I have researched. I just haven't found the solution yet. I know the oil won't help what has been done but hopefully it might prevent things from happening again. xD

You might want to contact the manufacturer of the wallet. A new item should not be showing wear already. Maybe a bad run of the leather or something and the maker could give you more info.

Response: Maybe your Mom bought it from a place that sells ripoffs, not that she knew, I'm not saying that, but some ebay people and some local stores sell copies and they charge for originals. A real Chanel wallet wouldn't do that. Ask your Mom where she got it and go there and complain.
