Where do small fashion houses get fabric from? Not like Gucci or Louis Vuitton, like the dressmakers or boutique owners. Are they buying it wholesale? I know on shows like project runway the designers go to mood but they cant be buying it all at retail prices? wholesale accounts? Or do they go right to fabric distributors?
