Attaching a lining to the inside of the tote?

I know once someone tells me the answer to this that it'll seem like something I should've guessed on my own, but here it goes anyway.

I'm working on sewing a few different bags for personal use and for friends and whatnot and one of my friends would like the lining to be attached to the entire inside of the bag instead of being able to pull the lining out (obviously not detachable, but topstitched and just laid into the outer shell of the bag).

Best method of doing this?

And if it helps, it's just a basic square bottom tote

So the lining is already sewn in at the top of the tote? I'd just stitch the lining to the tote bottom at a couple of seams, sort of like "stitch in the ditch" quilting. It won't take much to keep the lining anchored.
