How to turn a Live Bullet into a key chain?

Now I now that this is dangerous and that the friction could set the round off, but I want to turn either a 9mm shell, or a .223 into a key chain to put with my car keys. Any help on how to remove the primer (and then in turn the powder) would be great. Obviously I want to keep the bullet and casing together so removing the primer seems like the only option.

Also any techniques on how to attach it to a key chain would be great. Thanks!

Nobody takes a live round apart and makes it into a keychain - they simply start with a piece of brass and the correct bullet to make those things.

But if you must - find a buddy who reloads - they will have a thingie called a Kenetic Bullet Puller that will remove the bullet and let you spill out the powder - and then you run it through a de-capping die.

Or you can email me with yoru mailing address. I am a reloading instructor - I will mail you an inert bullet just to keep you from getting hurt. You can use most any eye hook to thread into the primer pocket flash hole.
