The bag still is not available for purchase, but the British celebrity probably had connections to get hold of the bag anyway. It is still widely debated whether the foxtail part of the bag is real or not. If it turns out to be real, animal rights activists will probably let us know about it.

The bag carried by the British artist had both fur and fringes, not to mention leather straps and plenty of Louis Vuitton monograms. It is supposed to be available in both purple and lime, and the retail price is expected to be around $2,500 range. In other words, it will not be a bag that most consumers will be able to afford. However, if the foxtail turns out to be real, perhaps the bag will not become very popular in either event.

For consumers interested in vegetarian options, there are plenty of designer luxury handbags that are created from recycled materials such as old jackets and vintage leather. This not only makes the bags environmentally friendly, but it can also be argued that it makes them unique in terms of distressing, color and seaming. Some brands also use only organic fabric to line all their handbags.

One example of an earth friendly bag that was released recently was cut from recycled suede. Many fashionistas will probably argue that the clutch had all the luxurious feel of an expensive handbag without the wasteful manufacturing process. Right now it is possible to trace our purchases back to where they all originated from, handbags being no exception. In other words, there is no excuse to make unwise choices. Being eco-friendly can be both chic and stylish. However, if you are not particularly concerned about the environment, you always have the Louis Vuitton foxtail bag to look forward to. It is expected to be released later this year.
