Assuming you want something more durable than samsonite and american tourister (which are fine for occasional use) and don't want to pay for Tumi (probably the best and most expensive), I would look for the following:

Dakota (made by Tumi - very similar, just a little cheaper price wise)

Travel Pro Platinum - heavy duty stuff not so expensive - carried by many a flight attendent

Ricardo - maybe a little more stylish if that's your thing - also good but not super expensive

I fly 200K miles a year and have used Dakota and Travel Pro (I started with an American Tourister bag that made it through about 9 months before completely falling apart). Current bag is a travel pro platinum 22inch roll aboard.
