Edit: It'd be going in one of the plastic-card slots, behind an un-opened condom (I put it behind so little friction would be produced, the condom-wrappers are smooth).

depends on the match. if its a match book match then yes its safe. if its a strike anywhere match then it depends on the wallet. is the wallet soft enough to form around the match head? then yes it is safe to. though i would not recomend it becuase it might break the match head
