what kind of spider did i catch?

ok well the other day i found a bug spider and i cuaght it and i wastold it was a brown recluse but then someone else told me it was a hobo spider.
discrption: it was big and it looked gray it had orange fangs
and i went and looked up three diffrent types of spider a wolf spider a brown recluse and a hobo but the one that looked more like it was the brown recluse but im not sure ?

Rule#1: Any spider of any description will be identified here as any or all of Brown Recluse, Hobo Spider and Black Widow, simply because most people are, unfortunately, idiots.
To get an accurate ID, please post the most detailed description you can, including information like: any web, what its shape is, what color patterns it has, what it was doing, etc., and if possible a photo. It's extremely important as well to indicate where this spider was seen (geographically), as that can make a big difference in the kinds of spiders it might be. For instance, I can't really ID your spider based on your description, but I can say it definitely was not a Recluse or a Hobo Spider if your definition was accurate. Of course, I can't rule out the deadly Phoneutria...
