Need tips on best way to faux paint my wall.?

I am doing a faux painting on my wall in my living room. The base color is a shade of blue. I want to do blend a green and purple/reddish color over top. I am wondering if it is best to do the two top glaze colors at the same time or let one dry first. I don't want the colors to mix and change color so i am thinking that its best to do one at a time. Basically I am looking at combining the three colors using a brush technique to bring the colors of my living room together.
I did do them separate and it turned out great thank you. I know the color sounds a little different. You can see the blue in the back. The green is was the second coat and is very light. Then the reddish purple over top turned it into a very nice mix. I am very happy with it. They are all light shades it goes together very well. Thank you!

please get a piece of drywall and paint it the blue color, then when that's dry, try your glazes, letting each dry before adding the other..... this is a color combo that I just can't see working..... and you really need to practice with it and get it so that you like it before attaching it to your walls..... glazes are not easy to cover over if you happen to not like them later.....
