Would you pay the price for a designer purse?

I'm just curious to hear what people think about designer purses like Coach, Gucci, Prada, Chanel, etc. Would you really spend that much just to have the actual thing? Have you ever bought a knockoff?
My daughter has requested a $720 handbag from Gucci for Christmas!

It depends on how much it is. I wouldn't spend more than $300 on a purse, so if i really wanted a designer purse i'd get a knockoff.

I have a real Coach purse and a knockoff Chanel. I never use the Chanel though, i find it embarrassing that it's a fake.
