In the year 2003, the Echino collection of Etsuko Furuya made big on the textile industry. From its simple theme "My favorite things, fun things to shape the theme of color" became a big success. Etsuko makes it a point to create various things consciously and to further make them screaming with art filled with wonderful patterns and captivating designs. What kind of pen should I use for writing on fabric?

I need a pen that has ink that won't come out in the wash or smudge after several washings. I don't want to use fabric paint as people will be writing their signatures. Is there a particular type of fabric pen that works the best or does a sharpie do the trick? Thanks!

Sharpies fade and bleed. Use a Pigma micron pen or the Pigma brush-pen -- both are meant for use on fabric. e.g.:
