Just curious, like would a real wealthy person wear a Gucci handbag with the Gucci pattern all over it, or a Burberry shirt with the Burberry check on it?

Ummm, kinda. Im from Upper Eastside Manhattan, which everyone sees as the "rich" part. Guys tend to wear cheap things like $40 sneakers and all that. But girls tend to wear designer stuff, with a lot from Sak's, Bloomingdales, and especially Barneys. Guys dont care what they are wearing. The people in my school, like those whos parents are on Forbes top 100 richest wear nondesigner though. But if you are in LA or something like that, thats the show-off rich people. Here in NYC, we have a different species. They are the kind that dont spend that much. All my friends get like $10 allowance a week and they are millionaires. Some of them have to get jobs as waiters during the summer. Its weird because they have more money than everyone eating there combined.
