Is Article Marketing Becoming a Stone Age Relic…What's Going on With Article Marketing
What's in you inbox today?
Every morning as of late, my primary e-mail account is jammed with "pleas" from alleged "Super Affiliates" with lists of free reports and more costly e-books that practically beg me to "opt in."
Most of the pleas that I get have a tone of desperation in them.
Even if I was a full time affiliate, it would be impossible to read all of this stuff I'm getting. Three-four months ago the incoming email traffic I got seemed more upbeat, much more positive.
I have only been active since October 2009. During the interim I have been able to pickup on the names of several top money makers. E-mails and reports name these top paid gurus. Now those same gurus are sending me stuff directly. Sounds like desperation to me.
Love those F.R.E.E reports, don't you?
I got a free report just the other day that says the article marketing approach to making sales is dying. I need a fresh approach. One writer said that because many of the so called "Web 2.0" sites actually share their revenue with contributors, so this is where I should post my articles. He claimed that if the top article directories do not start a revenue-sharing plan—they will wither and die.
I do post articles on some of the top rated directories and I see changes happening. I had one article that drew 410 hits in two months, and two months later the hit count has still at 410. Why has my top hit getter suddenly died. Is it because the masses out there are backing off from searching—or are the search engines sending traffic elsewhere?
So what are Web 2.0 sites? Hmmmmm!
Also in the free report it was stated that the Web 2.0 sites are more favored now by the search engines and that's where they are going for good content. That may be true but most of the "social sites" I am part of don't seem to have much in the way of content. Now You Tube is another issue. I searched this site for a one of my heath care topics and found several thousand videos on one topic.
It's just a thought—but maybe some of the top article sites need to allow a link to a video in the articles they post. Obviously the searching public is leaning more toward watching a video than reading an article. Something to think about!
Didn't someone write an e-book about swimming with the sharks? Must have been a lawyer.
And so the feeding frenzy by the top marketers continues. As my wife has said," All you guys are doing is selling that crap to each other. Are you Internet marketers the only ones on the Internet anymore?"
Dammit, she's right again.
In any case, I will continue to post on the top article sites. But I ordered a video editing program online—just in case.
But then maybe the problem is just me. What am I doing wrong?
Yes, I am making a few sales—enough to motivate me to continue to do exactly what I have been doing—writing articles and posting them, and then checking my ClickBank account.
If you are an article marketer and are having doubts, then step back and take a deep breath. Article marketing is the best way to earn an extra income. My biggest problem was trying to do it on the cheap! I made some bad mistakes in the e-books I bought but I learned a great deal from a fewothers. I've learned enough to turn the corner. If you are determined not to spend a dime, well it was nice meeting you. But if you are sincere in your quest, then check out my product reviews.

Early humans living during the Stone Age most likely?
Early humans living during the Stone Age most likely
A.lived in small groups and moved to new areas as food became scarce.
B.settled in permanent villages for common defense.
C.were uninterested in art or music.
D.worshipped one common god.
It's A. I learned about this in anthro.
They had many gods and worshipped a lot of things that they didn't understand. So it's not D.
They had cave paintings so it's not C.
They were still hunters and didn't begin settling down and farming until way after the stone age, so it's not B.
