What is the proper way to keep the sand in a heavy bag spread even from top to bottom?
I bought a heavy bag a week ago for myself and my roommates (4) people using it total. It has maybe been used for no more the 8 hours and the sand is already moving towards the bottom, I would say about 1/4 of the bag (100 pounder) is already soft from being punched. Is there anyway to keep the bag from doing this and or get the sand back to where it was prior?
By not buying a cheesy brand in the first place. I can almost bet my life your heavy bag is either from: TKO, Everlast, Title, Combat Sports, or Century.
The only good brands I vouch for are Ringside, Cleto Reyes, Grant (only their "Professional" line of gloves), Winning, and maybe even Twins and Windy gear. In your case, I'd highly recommend sending the bag back to where you got it from and ordering a heavy bag made by Ringside. Specifically a water-filled with foam-layering one. Look into it, but stay clear of all the bad brands I listed.
