Rent or Buy a Home - Insuring Your Property and Protecting Your Wallet

With the housing market in San Diego and across much of the US still struggling, the idea of new home ownership in our current economic climate has come with some trepidation. If you are a renter and have purchased a renters insurance policy, you will be reimbursed for temporary housing if necessary, and are also protected against liability if someone is injured in your home. Additionally, you often can bundle renters insurance with other policies such as auto insurance and receive a discount.

The bottom line is whether you choose the renter or homeowner path, expect to shell out a few of your hard earned dollars per month to protect your personal property. If you took a moment to add up the value of everything in your rented or owned home, you might be surprised to find out how much it's really worth. A retired gentleman went into the local social security office 2 apply for aid.

After waiting in line a long time he got to the counter,The woman behind the counter asked him for his driver's license to verify his age.He looked in his pocket and realozed he had left his wallet at home."Will i have to go home and come back now?"He asks.

The woman says,"Unbutton your shirt."

He opens his shirt revealing lots of curly silver hair.

She says,"That silver hair is proof enough for me."and processes is application.

When he gets home,the man excitedly tells his wife about his experience.

She says,You should of dropped your pants,you might have qualified for disability too!"

hell thats hilarious! i'll have to try that on my hubby when he forgets his wallet!..lol
