How to Get Rid of Belly Pouch?

Getting rid of the belly pouch can prove too cumbersome for many women. Classic cardio workouts and activities might not be effective enough or not at all. Before I explain how to get rid of belly pouch, let's see what are the two most common types of belly pouch.

The most common belly pouch is the one that is left after pregnancy. Women usually gain some weight during pregnancy. That usually stretches the skin and abdominal muscles which are left that way after delivery.

The second most common belly pouch is the one that is left after a significant weight loss in a very short time. Fat on the belly is usually very hard to burn, and it stays there for a longer time. In very extreme situations where a person would lose a large amount of weight, the belly pouch might actually be a flabby skin.

So how do you lose a belly pouch? Maybe you have already been doing some exercises, and that is good. Two main things to stick to are exercises and a proper diet. Cardio workouts are necessary to burn fat, but long lasting workouts might not be the right thing. To most effectively burn fat is to build muscles all over the body because muscles improve fat burning whether you're exercising or resting.

Maybe you could just modify your cardio to include short periods of high intensity? You could go beyond your aerobic threshold and jump into anaerobic exercising which improves muscle growth. Some classic core exercises can also help to build muscles around the problem areas like thighs, buttocks and stomach. Crunches and sit-ups are the most familiar exercises for abdominal muscles, but they are not enough. You need to target all areas of your torso. Exercises that include torso movements are proven to build core muscles.

Diet is extremely important in any fat burning discipline. Without the proper diet, you might not get the wanted results or not get any results at all. Eating processed food and food that contains sugars and fats will not help you grow muscles and it will be very hard to burn fat.

Abdominal area, butt and thighs are the first areas where women gain, and it is also the last area where they lose fat. It's not without the extreme change in diet that you will see results and lose that belly pouch. When I say "extreme diet change", I'am not saying that you should lower your calorie intake to the extreme levels. To lose fat you really do need to cut on calories but not too much. Starving has negative effects on muscle growth, health, and you will get the infamous yo-yo effect where you will very soon gain all the weight you have lost. You actually have to eat healthier!

If all you have left with is loose skin on your abdomen, then it might not be possible to get rid of it. If your skin has been stretched for too long or too much, it might never get back to the way it was before. After a certain point skin would lose its elasticity and the only way to get rid of it is surgery. However, give it a try before you go down that path. It may take a year or even more after birth or weight loss for the skin to return to its normal state. Abdominal muscles can also be separated during pregnancy, which can cause a belly pouch even if you have no fat at all. With exercises, you can strengthen the muscles and they would eventually come back together, but it may take months or years.

Remember to drink plenty of water because staying properly hydrated is important for skin elasticity and health in general. Water keeps you hydrated during exercises and also keeps your stomach full, which can reduce your tendency to overeat.

where can i see pictures of womens stomachs after c-sections?

i just would like to see if EVERYONE keeps that pouch thing without having to get surgery.

Yes, from my understanding that "pouch thing" never goes away, i had a c-section 14 months ago and it looks the same today as it did the day after i had the surgery. It ugly i know, but as far as i know there is not a great deal that can be done about it unfortunately.
