How to cast (bind) off in the round?

how do you cast off in the round on straight needles??
dont say that you cant knit in the round on straight needles because you can. i have half my knitting on both needles, how do i cast off??
also, im making a mini coin purse and i want to have it on a drawstring. can i thread the wool through the stitches whilst they are still on the needles or wouldnt that work??

I don't see why you need a special way to bind off.Use a 3rd needle and cast off in the usual way.
You could thread yarn thru the stitches but as the stitches wear the thread would break and ladder. It would be better to make a hem or work a row of holes 2 or more rows before binding off.
